Create Course

If you are a new Zenler Studio user, please follow the steps below to creating a new course in Zenler Studio:
From the 'Course' section, select “New Course”.

New Course New Course This is a blank course template.

Course Wizard Course WizardCourse Wizard contains two types of templates (General Wizard and Quiz Only Wizard).General Wizard guides the user to create a course with or without Quizzes right from scratch. Quiz Only Wizard guides user to create quiz only courses.

Course Templates Course TemplatesCourse Templates are pre-designed Zenler courses. Here you can find some pre designed Courses like Introducing Zenler Studio, Occulational Health and Safety, Anti Money Laundering Course templates.

Select ‘Blank Course’ and click on OK button to start creating Zenler course from a Blank Course.

A ‘New Course’ dialog will open. Enter a Course Name and select a location for the Course. Click on Create button to create a blank course..

Your course is now created and you may edit the course as you progress.

Creating a Chapter

To create New Chapter in the Course, follow the instructions below:
Right click on the Course to which you need to add a new chapter. Choose ‘Insert New’ option.

Select ‘Chapter’ option to add a new chapter in the course.
You can easily add new chapter by click on the Add Chapter button from the Course Designer Task Pane.

Insert Interactivity Model

To insert interactivity model into Zenler Studio Course, please follow the steps below:

Click on the ‘Insert/Edit Interactivity’ button in the Interactivity section of the Zenler Studio ribbon in your PowerPoint.

A ‘Select Template’ dialog box appears. From the window select the interactivity template you need.

It is like a non specialist development tool which helps to create variety of eLearning interactivities like E book, 3D Cube, Panoramic Zoom effects and much more that are flexible and beyond our imaginations. Click on the ‘Create’ button to go to interactivity editor.

Make all modifications you want in the interactivity model. After doing all the modifications to the interactivity. Click on the Done button to start the publish process.

After publishing process is completed, the published interactivity model directly embeds into the course editor.

Insert a Quiz

To insert Quiz model into the Zenler Studio Course follow the steps below:
Click on the ‘Add Quiz’ button in Add group of Zenler Studio ribbon.

A new window to select quiz template appears. There are many quiz templates available, select the desired one. You can preview the template in its full working by clicking on the ‘Show large preview’ button.
Click on OK to proceed.

A ‘Zenler Quiz’ editor window appears. On the ‘Add Question’ section, click on the question type to add. Zenler Quiz comes with 5 types of quiz questions:

True/False : Select the correct option with the radio button. It mainly used to define whether a statement is correct or incorrect.
Multiple Choice : You can add as many answers choices you need. Choose a single and correct answer with the radio button. 
Multiple Response : You can add as many options as you want, and choose correct answers with the corresponding checkboxes. It is used to choose from several alternatives and one or more of them can be correct.
Sequence : Arrange answers in the correct order. Users see a shuffled list when they attend the quiz.
Matching : Match the answer pairs in the correct order. Users see a shuffled list when they attend the quiz.

In the question editor section there are three question options: Question, Correct Message and Wrong Message. Enter all desired question information here.

After inserting all questions click on the ‘Done’ button. Now the whole quiz gets embedded to the Zenler course.

Publish Course

‘Publish to SWF’ window appears. Here provide Output Filename and Output location.

Click on the ‘Publish’ button. A ‘Select Player’ window appears. Here user can select the course player background theme. User can choose the existing themes or add new one by clicking the ‘Change Background’ button.

When you click on ‘Change Background’ button it will open a window to choose image from the local machine.
Click the OK button to start the publishing process.

After finishing the publishing process you will see Course published message. Select OK.

Publish to Zenler Online

From the Publish menu, select 'Publish To Zenler Online...'

‘Publish to Zenler Online’ window will open up. Provide Zenler Online account information here.

Click on the ‘Publish’ button. A ‘Select Player’ window appears. Here use can select the course player background theme. User can choose the existing themes or add new one by clicking the ‘Change Background’ button.
Click the OK button to start the publishing process.
After finishing the publishing process you will see Course successfully published to Zenler Online message. Select OK.

After publishing process is completed successfully you can see the course in your Zenler Online account.

Publish to SCORM

From the Publish menu, select 'Publish To SCORM...'

‘Publish to LMS’ window will be opened. Please give the information’s here like Target LMS, Course Title, Description, Course Creator and Output Location.

Click on the ‘Publish’ button to start publishing process.
After publishing process you will see Course published message. Select OK.
